Hello (in Java)!

  1. Read Hello World (Java).
    • Be sure to carefully read the entire article!
    • Follow all of the links in the article and make sure you understand the basic concepts associated with each highlighted word or phrase that references another article. If you don't understand something or you don't understand why you should care, then ask.
    • If you're taking AP Computer Science A, then make sure you are very comfortable writing, compiling, and executing a simple 'Hello World' program in Java. If you get bored, help someone who is having trouble or continue to explore related topics using the references provided.
    • If you are not taking AP Computer Science A, then you may enjoy trying to write, compile and run a Java program, but you do not have to.
